I am a new user of nanohub and MEEP and currently try to understand how to calculate the Electric field enhancement of a bowtie nanostructure. So far I’ve understood how to calculate the absolute value of the field enhancement and could reproduce the value with MEEP. However, I don’t understand how to obtain the normalised field enhancement. Can anybody possibly explain me how to calculate the value for the that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
