Nano Curriculum Materials I - NACK Network

A series of two workshops, the Nano Curriculum Materials Workshops (formerly known as our “Nanotechnology Course Resource Workshops” and “Train the Trainer” Workshops) were created to provide faculty with:

  • Resources (labs, presentations, and more) and
  • Guidance to effectively teach undergraduate nanotechnology courses.

Please note: These two workshops do not need to be taken in sequence.

These workshops are designed for: Post-Secondary faculty and administrators.

There is no cost to participate in this workshop if your application is selected. Applications must be submitted by the deadline stated on the application to be considered.

Participation: Will be using free video conferencing through zoom.us which will include breakout sessions, polls, discussion groups, etc. Participants will be given opportunities to interact with both the lecturers, other participants, and remotely accessible nanotechnology equipment.

Tech Requirements: webcam, microphone, internet access

  • Four Friday sessions, 11 am-4 pm ET, March/April 2020 (3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/17)

This workshop focuses on: Materials, Safety, and Equipment Overview; Bottom-Up Manufacturing and Bio-nanotechnology; and Deposition.
