Silicon-Interface Scattering in Carbon Nanotube Transistors
Recent experimental studies on carbon nanotube materials and also graphene revealed significant influence of the surface scattering mechanisms on their electronic properties. The physics of various scattering mechanisms due to the interface with the Si-substrate will be elucidated in the talk: the remote Coulomb impurity and remote phonon-polariton scattering will be presented. Such mechanisms may appear important for both single-tube field-effect devices and for NT array thin-film transistors. |
