2015 INSPIRE Summer Academy

The INSPIRE Institute for Pre-College Engineering will host a summer academy in July at Purdue University's West Lafayette Campus. The workshop is designed to provide Kindergarten through 8th grade educators (traditional and home school) with the skills, resources and understanding to help integrate engineering into their classrooms.  The topic for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teachers will involve nanoscale science and technology.
The academy will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday, July 21st, 2105 through Thursday, July 23rd, 2015. Participants can also choose to participate in a field trip to a local automobile assembly plant on Friday, July 24th. The cost of the workshop is $250 per educator (a limited number of scholoarships are available).
