The fabrication stage utilizes the existing nanofabrication processes to implement the desired design. The fabricated structures should be faithful to design.
The scalable (nano)manufacturing stage requires that fabricated structures be scalable and cost effective while maintaining integrity of design.
Each of the aforementioned stages feeds into the other and is tied together using uncertainty quantification.
