About the Group

Following the nanohub workshop it is possible now to design a course or to enhance an existing course to include simulation laboratories to confirm physical principles beyond the text book. Students are no longer confined to results carefully presented to confirm the physical laws. The physics NC A&T State University offers two courses that are good candidates for use of Nanohub. They are PHYSICS 550 (Undergraduate Research), PHYSICS 500 (Special topics in physics). Following a typical modern physics and quantum mechanics topics, we propose to introduce “Simulation laboratory for undergraduate Physics”. The bank of simulations to be used include resources from nanohub and phet, a resource for nanoscience and nanotechnology, is supported by the National Science Foundation and other funding agencies. Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation.
