National Nanotechnology Day
National Nanotechnology Day is celebrated each year on, or around, October 9. October is the tenth month, so October 9 represents 10 to the power of -9, for "nano"!

Take part in nanoHUB's Carbon Nanotube Dance Challenge!
To help celebrate this year's theme, "nano in motion" take part in nanoHUB's Carbon Nanotube (CNT) Dance Challenge!
Instructions for the basic CNT dance steps, along with some background on CNTs, are in this nanoHUB resource: https://nanohub.org/resources/28721
Once your group has tried these moves and put them together to A) model carbon nanotubes or B) make a new CNT dance, please share your photos and videos.
There are three ways to share:
- To share with the world, post your photos and videos online and include a link in our Twitter or Facebook pages: Use the hashtags #CNTdance, #NationalNanoDay, and #NNDimagine
