    Mehdi Salmani Jelodar received his BSc in Computer Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran; in 2003. His final project was on employing Morphological Operators for recognizing Persian texts. He did his MSc in computer engineering at University of Tehran from 2003 to 2006. During his MSc, he worked on using and improving optimization methods for several different applications like scheduling, circuit design, test vector generation and robotics. He published more than 20 papers during his MSc and specifically he published 8 papers from his master thesis. His thesis was entitled “Digital System Design Using Enhanced Evolutionary Approaches”. Between 2003 and 2008, he was working at Sepanta AI Research Foundation as head or member of AI and electronics projects. He was manger of the educational electronics boards’ team. Then he worked as head of the ADSL splitter project and team member of projects on Persian Optical Character Recognition and Persian Spellchecker software. He also was one of the governing team members during that time. In 2007 spring he worked as a part-time lecturer in Azad University, Borazjan Branch. During 2008 fall semester, he was a lecturer in University Mazandaran. Since the beginning of 2009, Mehdi Joined Professor Klimeck’s group at ECE department of Purdue University as a PhD student., a resource for nanoscience and nanotechnology, is supported by the National Science Foundation and other funding agencies.
