I am currently an assistant professor of mechanical engineering (ME) at Mississippi State University (MSU).
After earning my BSME degree from MSU, I worked for 8 years at engineering offices of The Dow Chemical Company in Houston, Texas. While at Dow, I led the mechanical equipment design of various multimillion dollar projects for Dow plant facilities worldwide. In early 2004, I started full-time graduate studies in ME at MSU and received a 2005 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. While in graduate school, I earned MS and PhD degrees in Engineering. I am a member of TMS, ASME, NSBE, SWE and ASEE.
