Citations demonstrate impact on research

The nanotechnology research community has cited nanoHUB​.org resources more than 960 times in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, book chapters, and other scientific literature. More than 1,940 authors have cited nanoHUB, many of them unaffiliated (green) with the Network for Computational Nanotechnology. The publications citing nanoHUB have received over 8,000 secondary citations, yielding an h-index of 45. nanoHUB's h-index is comparable to that of an eminent researcher, as those elected to an academy of engineering or science typically have an h-index in the range of 40-50.
