The framework that powers nanoHUB.org has been released as an open source package known as the HUBzero(r) Platform for Scientific Collaboration. This platform has been used to create more than 30 hubs covering a wide variety of disciplines, including cancer care, pharmaceuticals, environmental modeling, biofuels, and even volcano research, to name a few. This overview of the platform was presented at Cyber Infrastructure Days 2010 at Purdue University. More details about HUBzero are available at http://hubzero.org.
