Prof. Fujita is currently a professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry at the University of Tokyo (2002-Present). His main research interest is the spontaneous organization of various biological structures. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Chiba University. Prof. Fujita then received his Ph.D. from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He has published over 240 articles and given over 300 lectures and seminars at international or Japanese meetings. Additionally, since 1997, Prof. Fujita has been a Project Leader at CREST and the Japan Science and Technology Corporation (JST).
