Abstract

This presentation discusses the characterization of hard disk lubrication layers by phase contrast atomic force microscopy.

Credits

Hard disks were manufactured and experimental results were obtained at the Maxtor, Inc. (now Seagate technology) San Jose, CA facility (now closed).
