The topic is interesting and important since we need to talk to the public either to raise founding or just to chat. The lecturer designed games and discussions to engage the audience. These made the lecture interesting and all the questions are thoughtful. Via these game, a few questions are discussed like what makes a memorable learning experience, what communication techniques we should use, etc. However, I think the lecture can be more insightful. The title of the lecture is general, but actually it is more about some techniques of communicating to a museum visitor.

My other compaint is that the sound recording is not good. I cannot hear most of the answers from the audience.

I had a different idea before attending this presentation. I think this presentation is a class based presentation which has most elements that involve interactive sessions with other people. That being said, I like the idea of presenting any idea to a broader audience, let's say you imagine you first group is fifth graders, next high school kids, then your peers, old people and many. In this way, you can prepare something at the end which will be much more comprehensible.

I always volunteer for an event called 'Nanodays' where we have to explain different scientific experiments to the school kids. It really helped in my communication skills, explaining things the easiest way possible.
