Abstract

Diagnostic bioMEMS (biomedical MicroElectroMechanical Systems) have been increasing in number every year.  This learning module provides an introduction to some of the diagnostic tools currently in us and possibilities for future bioMEMS.  A research activity provides the opportunity for you to do your own research of a specific diagnostic MEMS that is of interest to you.

This learning module contains the following:

  • Reading:  Diagnostic BioMEMS Overview
  • Presentation:  Diagnostic BioMEMS Overview (pdf)
  • Activity:  Diagnostic BioMEMS Research
  • Assessment

Instructor materials for this learning module are available here.
