Dr. van Zee is a Research Chemist in the Chemical Science and Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where he leads the Nanoscale and Optical Process Metrology Group. He also serves as the Chair of the Strategic Planning Task Force for the National Nanotechnology Initiative. He is an alumnus of Calvin College (BA, `87) and the University of California, Berkeley (PhD, `92).
