Abstract

The NCN Annual Report was an amalgamation of several PHP scripts which produced various text, CSV and HTML outputs that were served up by copying them or viewing them on a separate website. It was created over time as demands changed rapidly. With new reporting demands and comprehensive re-engineering of the metrics backend processing on nanoHUB, a new reporting tool was needed.

The NCN Retrospective Report is an evolving Jupyter notebook that attempts to produce a complete retrospective report with the click of a button. Being a Jupyter notebook, it is easily modified to meet changes needs now and in the future.
