What does the SiNwDNAsensor simulator do?
This tools allows you to carry out 3D atomistic feature-scale simulations of silicon-nanowire DNA-sensors. This involves solving the Poisson-Boltzmann equation on the simulation domain containing the nanowire, its oxide, the probe and target molecules (i.e., DNA strands), and the solution. The output are the electric characteristics of the field-effect device, and fancy visualizations of the potential etc.
