In addition to computer aided design software, there are a number of other softwares that are used to design nano devices. NanoCAD - This is a free program for designing and creating 3-D printed objects. It is available for Windows and Mac OS. Autodesk Fusion 360 - This is an open source 3D CAD program that is available for Mac OS X, Linux and Windows. It is used for designing functional parts of devices as well as complex assemblies.
