Frequency combs generated through nonlinear resonant cavities enable a side variety of important applications, including metrology, pulse shaping, and TF modulation. However, predicting the performance of particular designs can be a difficult and time-consuming process, when done through direct finite difference time domain simulations. Here, we introduce a web-based tool on nanoHUB, called ‘cmtcomb3’ that allows us to quickly and easily change design parameters and see the results both numerically and graphically. It enables exploring basic physics, as well as rapid prototyping for specific applications.
