Abstract

The objective of the Resistor Color Code tool is to apply the color code to determine the resistance value of a resistor. The tool is capable of calculating the resistance value based on the color input for each band. The first color band represents the first significant figure, the second color band represents the second significant figure, the third color band represents the multiplier and the fourth color band is the tolerance value. The tool is also capable of determining the closest resistor based on the Color Codes for the E24 range of resistors.
