Abstract

This session will detail the science and education outreach efforts taking place at NASA in both the K-12 and internship programs. We will detail how current NASA research shapes activities and lessons for schools, and how those can be implemented by educators nationwide.

Bio

Brandon Rodriguez Brandon Rodriguez is the educator professional development specialist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. After a rewarding career in research, he wanted to share his love of science with the next generation. He became a high school science teacher, taught at the college and graduate level, and now designs activities and trainings in STEM for K-12 educators. Outside of promoting STEM education, he enjoys reading philosophy, travel and speaking to your dog like it's a person.
