The Institute includes two weeks of lectures and hands-on training in engineering and physical science laboratory techniques, covering topics such as cancer nanotechnology, cell mechanics, molecular biology, and NanoBio devices.
Who should apply?
Undergraduate seniors, graduate students, post-docs, and junior faculty members from engineering, physical sciences, and biological sciences interested in state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research at the intersection of engineering and biology.
Application and fees
Application deadline: Monday, April 15, 2013
Registration fee: $1,500
Fee includes all lab materials, breakfast and lunch each weekday, and housing in a dorm room from July 28-August 9. Partial scholarships may be available, pending funding.
Objectives include:
Train next-generation researchers in both engineering and biology through lectures and hands-on lab experiences
