Biography
I define myself as a student of 'Science'.
Graduated in Chemical and molecular sciences (PhD-2014) from University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy. (with prestigious Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher fellowship). M.Sc. in Scientific Instrumentation from University of Applied sciences, Jena, Germany. Bachelors in Instrumentation engineering from Shivaji University, India.
Recently i have joined University of Rome `Tor Vergata` as a post-doc researcher and working on printed chemical sensors based on carbon and metal oxide materials.
Engineer turned researcher, my current research focuses on inkjet printing of metal/carbon electrodes, field effect transistors for the development of chemical sensors.
Integration of biomolecules with organic thin film transistors, Graphene FET, microfabrication, surface functionalization /characterization of bio-functionalized sensing layers and microfluidics are some of the key areas explored in recent past. In nutshell, since last 4.5 years I have been working on Electrolyte gated thin film transistors (EGOFET) employed for the development of chemical and biosensing applications.
