Abstract
This is a compendium of lessons that can be used to explore topics associated with issue numbers 3-16 of Nanooze. Also included is a crosswalk of Nanooze and the Next Generation Standards for grades 5-8. Nanooze is designed for grades 5-8 and is considered a physical science publication but because it is about nanoscale science and engineering it also covers topics from the life sciences and chemistry. While designed from grades 5-8, many high schools use Nanooze as a way to introduce nanoscale science and engineering topics.
Nanooze is available at: www.nanooze.org and http://www.nnci.net/nanooze. Classroom packs (30/pack) of each issue are available for free. Issues 1 and 2 are out of print. Contact info@nanooze.org to request issues. PLEASE NOTE: If multiple teachers at one school plan to order issues, please combine your orders so that one shipment can be made.
