what is the suitable tool?

I want to simulate porous silicon under quantum confinement effect and compare it to bulk silicon. which tool is suitable for me to use?

    Hi, You can try to do transport using PADRE. You will have to obtain its material parameters and define it your self. Regarding electronics structure, I am not sure how we can treat a porous structure , but we have parameters for pure Si in bandstructure lab.
