Welcome to 3D3C
The 3D Cell Culture Core (3D3C) facility is located in the Birck Nanotechnology Center, a hub for the interdisciplinary interaction of biologists, engineers and other scientists. One of the goals of the facility is to provide amenities and advice for projects making use of 3D Cell Culture in biology and engineering research. Another goal of the facility is to host state-of-the-art equipment and provide training in techniques, such as laser capture microdissection, tissue sectioning and labeling, for the analysis of tissues produced in culture or obtained from in vivo. The advisory network for 3D3C is made of scientists and clinicians who have a breadth of expertise in pathology, extracellular matrices and cell culture substrata, 3D culture for specific tissue types, bioprinting, micromachining and microfluidics, and imaging. The 3D3C is headed by Facility Manager, Dr. Tim Kwok and Scientific Director, Prof. Sophie Lelièvre. Please contact the facility manager to discuss potential projects or to access the facility if you are a first time user of the 3D3C services.
